3rd International Calcium Channel Conference

The 3rd International Calcium Channel Conference will be held from the evening of Sunday March 24th to noon Friday March 29th, 2013 at the Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas, Krabi, Thailand.

With 500-metres of beach frontage and superb views of the limestone formations that characterize this beautiful part of southern Thailand, the resort is located on the beach at secluded Pai Plong Bay. The resort is separated by one bay from the main resort area of Ao Nang with its extensive range of shops, bars and restaurants. The more populated Ao Nang Beach can be reached either by speedboat from the resort, or via a walkway. The resort is located 30 minutes from Krabi Airport.
The Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas offer numerous leisure activity options including a swimming pool, children’s pool, jacuzzi, spa, fitness centre, scuba diving, sailing, snorkeling, windsurfing, and kayaking.
The Krabi airport is serviced by numerous daily flights from Bangkok on Thai Airways and Bangkok Air. The resort will arrange transfers from the airport.
The organizers have negotiated special discounted rates for attendees:

- Premium Deluxe Ocean Facing Room (per night): single (8,000 THB), twin/double (8,000 BHT), extra child (900 BHT)
- Rooms include American breakfast.

** For bookings prior to Dec 24, 2012 a 10 % deposit will be charged. A 50% deposit is required three months prior to the meeting. Note that room choices are available on a first come first serve basis. Please let the organizers know via email (zamponi@ucalgary.ca; snutch@msl.ubc.ca) when you make your reservation so that they can keep track of participants.
